GENERAL INFORMATION

GETTING TO THE EVENT

Recife International Airport is located 50 km to the north of Porto de Galinhas, the location of the Enotel Spa and Resort. The airport has direct daily flights from Miami, Lisbon and Panama and biweekly flights from Frankfurt. Alternatively you could fly to Brazil's largest bugs, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo where there are a dozen flight a day to Recife.

Upon arrival Recife in airport, whilst awaiting your courtesy transfer to Porto de Galinhas, a dedicated area will be arranged for delegates within the airport terminal. Here you can relax and refresh after your long journey.

DO I NEED A VISA?

European Union, Swiss and South African passport holders do not required a visa to enter Brazil. Check your country’s visa requirement status at the bottom of this webpage under the ‘Visa’ box. However, we advise you to seek the latest information from your nearest Brazilian consulate. This website provide an extensive list of Brazilian consulates across the world.

WEATHER AND CLIMATE

Pernambuco is 5º south of the equator. Temperatures never drop below 24ºC, even in the winter (May to September). The winter is slightly rainier than the summer, although you can still expect a lot of sun and temperatures over 30º. Bring sun screen!

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

If you are making your own way to the conference, be sure to use official airport taxis. At the event center you will receive a list of accredited taxi firms that use drivers with adequate English abilities.

ELECTRICITY AND INTERNET


Sockets in Northeast Brazil follow European norms and supply 220V. Sockets in Brazil accept these (1, 2) types of plugs.

Enotel Hotel and Conference center will provide courtesy internet to all conference delegates.
